SMS Terms
The program
Nerd Nation sends automated texts about your trade-in drop-off, when your cash or store-credit offer is ready (reply CASH or CREDIT to accept), and prepaid shipping-label links. Messages come from our Shawnee or Manhattan store numbers. This is not Brevo marketing email and not promotional blasts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.
How you opt in
- In store (verbal / paper / digital intake): you give your mobile number, choose Text as the contact method, and confirm it is OK to text you about that trade-in. Staff records consent. The agreement checkbox is not pre-checked.
- On the website: you enter your number (for example to receive a prepaid label or an offer notice) and check the consent box yourself. It starts unchecked.
- By text: reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to our number after you have previously opted in or to resume after STOP.
You can always choose Call or Email instead of Text. SMS is optional.
Call to Action (CTA) — website opt-in
This is the public Call to Action reviewers can verify. Submitting this sample does not subscribe you. The checkbox starts unchecked (not pre-ticked).
In-store / paper CTA (same consent): Contact method: Call / Text / Email. If Text is selected, the customer confirms: “OK to text me about this trade-in. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Privacy: nerdnation.us/privacy-policy SMS Terms: nerdnation.us/sms-terms.” Staff does not pre-check the box.
