2. Eligibility

The Nerd Nation $1K Speedrun Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island and Tennessee, who are at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority in their state of residence.

Nerd Nation employees and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

Entrants do not need to shop at Nerd Nation to participate. However, the selected winner must be willing and able to travel to Nerd Nation’s Shawnee, Kansas store at their own expense.

3. Entry Period

The Sweepstakes begins August 1, 2026, and ends August 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Central Time.

Nerd Nation’s website clock is the official timekeeper.

4. How to Enter

Enter free by completing the official entry form at:

Limit one entry per eligible person. Multiple, incomplete, automated, fraudulent, or inaccurate entries may be disqualified.

A purchase, trade-in, marketing-email subscription, or social-media follow is not required and will not improve the odds of winning.

5. Prize

One confirmed winner will receive a ten-minute shopping spree for up to $1,000 in eligible, in-stock merchandise at:

The winner must select at least three separate eligible items. A bundle or collection sold under one SKU counts as one item.

The total checkout amount, including applicable sales tax, may not exceed $1,000 unless the winner pays the difference. Any unused prize value is forfeited and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Gift cards, cash equivalents, services, preorders, special orders, held merchandise, third-party or vendor merchandise, and other items identified by Nerd Nation are excluded.

The approximate retail value of the prize is up to $1,000.

6. Shopping-Spree Rules

The winner will have ten minutes to select eligible merchandise. The timer begins when a Nerd Nation employee gives the official start signal. Checkout will take place after the selection period.

The winner must follow all employee instructions. Running, unsafe conduct, interfering with customers, opening restricted displays without assistance, or damaging merchandise is prohibited.

Nerd Nation may remove or reject any ineligible merchandise selected during the event.

7. Drawing and Potential-Winner Confirmation

One potential winner will be selected through a random drawing on or about August 31, 2026.

The potential winner will be contacted using the email address or phone number provided during entry and must respond within 48 hours.

The selected entrant is not the confirmed winner until the entrant:

• Verifies their identity, age, residence, and eligibility;
• Confirms they can travel to Shawnee, Kansas;
• Agrees to participate in the recorded shopping-spree event;
• Signs Nerd Nation’s eligibility, prize-acceptance, liability, participation, and media-release documents; and
• Complies with these Official Rules.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, cannot travel to Shawnee, declines filming, refuses or fails to sign the required documents, or otherwise does not comply with these rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner may be selected.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. Travel and Redemption

Travel, lodging, meals, transportation, and all other expenses related to redeeming the prize are the winner’s responsibility and will not be reimbursed by Nerd Nation.

The shopping spree must be scheduled for a mutually agreed date and completed within 45 days after winner confirmation unless Nerd Nation approves a different date in writing.

Failure to redeem the prize within the required period may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.

9. Participation and Media Release

The shopping spree will be photographed and recorded for possible use on Nerd Nation’s website, YouTube channel, social-media accounts, advertisements, emails, and other promotional materials.

As a condition of being confirmed as the winner and receiving the prize, the potential winner must sign a separate release allowing Nerd Nation and its authorized representatives to use the winner’s name, voice, image, likeness, statements, and footage from the event without additional compensation.

10. General Conditions

The prize is nontransferable and cannot be substituted for cash. The winner is responsible for any applicable personal taxes or expenses not expressly included in the prize.

Nerd Nation may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, submits false information, violates these rules, or behaves in an unsafe, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike manner.

Nerd Nation may suspend, modify, or cancel the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical problems, unauthorized interference, or circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent the promotion from operating fairly.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release Nerd Nation LLC and its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance and use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.

Nerd Nation is not responsible for lost entries, incorrect contact information, website interruptions, transmission errors, or other technical failures outside its reasonable control.

12. Privacy

Information submitted through the entry form will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, and contact the potential winner.

Marketing messages will only be sent according to the entrant’s separately selected marketing preferences.

13. Disputes

To the extent permitted by law, the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by Kansas law. Any dispute relating to the Sweepstakes must be brought individually in a court with jurisdiction in Johnson County, Kansas.
